Montana is situated in Northwest Bulgaria and is one of the best places for para and hang gliding. A combination of lots of thermals and dynamics, the mountains here offer great conditions for records (the Bulgarian national record is 201km).

The competition is held at three main sites (depending on the weather) at a distance of up to 40 km from the city of Montana. The final is a wonderful beach complex by the city itself.
